Stages Performing Arts is a Chicago based company offering one-of-a-kind classes for children ages 2 months - 18 years in the West Loop. Stages provides a performing arts program that grows with your child. From fun, developmentally appropriate infant/toddler classes (that are also entertaining for caregivers) to a training ground for the next generation of performers, Stages has it all.
Broadway Stars (Grades K-4) & Broadway Stages (Grades 4-6)
Whether your child is destined for the lights of Broadway or simply loves to perform, our After School Classes will challenge them to become better collaborators and improvisers, spark their creativity, and give them the confidence to excel both onstage and off.
Each week, young performers play acting games and work together as a cast to learn and rehearse Broadway musical numbers they perform onstage at the end of the semester in our Stages Finale.
Children in our older classes are challenged by the addition of scripted scenes, vocal harmonies, and more advanced choreography.
Classes are taught by a team of professional teaching artists with years of experience and ratios are kept small to ensure that each child receives individualized attention. Our fully developed curriculum is designed to grow with your child, becoming more challenging as children get older and more advanced.
Broadway Little Stars (Ages 3-5)
Each week, Little Stars dive into the world of a different Broadway Musical as our professional teaching artists bring the show to life through interactive storytelling, singing, dancing, and dramatic play activities. This unique class supports your preschooler's physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development while introducing them to elements of traditional performing arts classes. The semester culminates in an Open House for family and friends where Little Stars can showcase what they've been working on throughout the semester.
