3 days in the kids were asking, "Is it reading time yet?” It’s a parent's dream come true!
Summer Camp so different, it will transform your child into a reader by making them an artist. Travel the world this summer, though beloved books and art. Every week our campers explore the world through different themes. Our book selections feature space, animals, nature, architecture, museums, Greek legends and historical events. Then we make art inspired by our theme. Projects include pinhole cameras, little worlds, street art and letterpress printed books. Campers have lots of time to read, discuss, daydream and make art on their own. We also take the camp outside, depending on weather of course.
Unique professional artist techniques and tools based on our weekly theme, we create a curated project. Techniques include, bookbinding, letterpress, photography, screen printing, stop motion to name a few. Everything we use is what professional artists use, and we allow for the creative process to be expanded based on your child’s needs and curiosity.
The BookClub PopUp Library is stacked each week with new and exciting titles to keep your camper’s nose in the books and imagination ignited. Book selections are inspired by our weekly theme, so campers can explore more during reading time. We fill the BookClub PopUp Library with every genre and style possible including graphic novels, comics, fiction, non-fiction and detailed reference guides.
