The Swedish Museum is located in Andersonville, a traditionally Swedish neighborhood on Chicago's north side. The first floor of the museum houses an impressive art gallery that showcases local, national, and international Swedish artists. The Museum also boasts a popular "Dream of America" permanent exhibit highlighting Swedish life in the United States. The Children's Museum of Immigration is a completely hands-on interactive exhibit designed for children ages 2-12. This popular feature attracts thousands of young visitors each year.
