Casa Italia’s Italian Language and Culture Camp
Your Child’s Passport to Adventure This Summer
If you want to send your kids to Italy this summer while keeping them close to home, Casa Italia has the summer camp for you.
The Casa’s Italian Language & Culture Summer Camp will introduce children ages 4 to 16 to the best that Italy has to offer through drama, storytelling, arts and crafts, games, sports, dance, music and cuisine.
Campers will also learn about selected Italian regions and cities through geography, history, food and songs. This year, campers will take an imaginary journey to Venice during Carnevale.
Lessons are conducted in Italian by a fully certified language instructor. The staff this year will include four counselors from Italy.
The camp will run Monday through Friday from June 18 to 29 and July 9 to 20, with the week of Fourth of July off.
Full- and half-day programs are available for $595 and $295 respectively. An early-bird special of $495 for the full-day program ends on May 4.
Fees cover instructional material, daily lunch, nutritious snacks, fruit drinks and bottled water throughout the day, and one complimentary T-shirt per student. Casa Italia is located on 17 wooded and landscaped acres in west suburban Stone Park. Our property is easily accessible from the Eisenhower and Tri-State.
