Get curious with Lookingglass Theatre Company!
Arts Quest and Summergglass camps explore the same artistic process seen on our mainstage! Tumble down the rabbit hole in to the world of theatre with professional artists dedicated to inspiring curiosity and collaboration in an ensemble setting. Students of all skill levels create and adapt stories while developing the actor's tools (body, mind, and voice), leaving them changed, charged, and empowered.
Arts Quest (Grades K-3)
Explore the world around you in our summer Arts Quest Camp! Campers delve into the theatre arts through daily classes in storytelling, music, and art. We explore Chicago's most exciting destinations during our field trips, and host a special guest artist each session to awaken curiosity. When not "out and about" in the city, we use dedicated rehearsal time to create an original piece of theatre to perform on stage at the end of the session.
Session I (July 15 - 26) Ocean Voyagers
Session II (July 29 - August 9) Cosmic Explorers

Summergglass (Grades 4-8)
We keep our Summergglass campers moving as they take daily classes in physical theatre and acting! Mornings are dedicated to learning how to effectively tell stories through the art of physical theatre. Depending on the instructor, physical theatre skills may include tumbling, juggling, shadow puppetry, clowning, circus skills, and more! During afternoon classes, campers learn to use their actor's tools-body, mind and voice-as they create an original adaptation of a Lookingglass play. At the end of each session, campers share their unique performance with friends and family on-stage.
